This tool shows what to fix. I set up the tracking that proves it worked: GA4 funnels, conversion tracking and server-side data, so every change is judged on real numbers.
More than 70 conversion checks across eight areas, each marked green, yellow or red, with the exact element named where possible.
Your main headline, sub-headline, the first button visitors see, sliders and anything that hides the message in the first screen.
Every button on the page: how many, what they say, generic text like “Submit”, repeated actions and buttons that go nowhere.
Number of fields, labels, mobile keyboards, autofill, submit button text and reassurance near the form.
Reviews, star ratings, guarantees, client logos, contact details, policy pages and a secure connection.
Product pages: add to cart, price, images, reviews, shipping and returns, product suggestions. Category pages: search, filters, sorting and product cards.
Menu size, headings, paragraph length, FAQ, video and whether analytics and heatmaps are installed.
Viewport, tap target size, text contrast and font size, tested by Google on a phone, with the exact elements listed.
Load time, layout shift and script delay on mobile and desktop, plus screenshots and a live preview on four screen sizes.
Three steps, about one minute, no sign-up.
Paste the page that should turn visitors into leads or sales. Choose the page type, or let the tool detect it.
It reads the page, finds every button, form and trust signal, detects your store platform and runs Google’s test on mobile and desktop.
Each check is marked good, warning or problem, with the element it refers to and a plain-English fix. Download the Excel action plan or have it emailed.
Conversion rate optimisation (CRO) means getting more of the visitors you already have to take action: buy, book, call or fill in a form. A CRO audit reviews a page for anything that stops them, such as an unclear headline, a button that is hard to find, a long form, missing reviews or a slow mobile page.
If 2 in every 100 visitors buy and you raise that to 3, sales grow by half without spending more on ads. That is why a conversion rate optimization audit is usually the cheapest growth work a business can do.
Nothing is estimated or made up. If a check cannot be run, the tool says so instead of guessing.
On a product page: add-to-cart button, price, number of product images, reviews, options, description length, shipping and returns information, stock status, product suggestions such as “You may also like”, breadcrumbs and Product schema. On a category or shop page: product search, filters, sorting, prices on product cards, cart icon, category navigation and featured products. Each result comes with a recommended layout to compare your page against.
Google tests your page on a phone and on a desktop and reports speed, tap target size, contrast and font size, naming the elements that fail. The Device Preview tab shows Google’s screenshots and, when your site allows it, a live preview at mobile, tablet, laptop and desktop widths so you can see your layout on each.
It audits one page at a time and it measures what is measurable. It cannot tell you whether your design looks good, whether your offer is attractive or whether your copy persuades. It also cannot see your checkout, your real conversion rate or where visitors drop off. Those need analytics, heatmaps and A/B tests on your own site. Treat this audit as a checklist of proven basics, then test changes with real visitors.
The standards this tool measures your page against.
| Check | Good | Needs fixing |
|---|---|---|
| Headline | One H1, 6 to 12 words, says what you offer | Missing, vague or several H1s |
| Main button | In the first screen, starts with a verb | Low on the page, “Submit” or “Click here” |
| Choices | One main action, repeated | Many competing buttons |
| Form | 5 fields or fewer, all labelled | 9 or more fields, placeholder-only |
| Social proof | Reviews and a star rating on the page | No reviews or testimonials |
| Risk reversal | Guarantee, free returns or free consultation | Nothing lowers the risk |
| Product page | 4+ images, reviews, shipping and returns shown | One image, no reviews, no delivery details |
| Category page | Search, filters and sorting | A long list with no way to narrow it |
| Mobile | Large tap targets, readable text | Tiny links, low contrast |
| Mobile load time (LCP) | Under 2.5 seconds | Over 4 seconds |

A conversion rate optimisation audit reviews a page for anything that stops visitors taking action: an unclear headline, a hidden button, a long form, missing reviews, weak mobile usability or slow loading. Fixing these raises sales and leads from the traffic you already have.
Content checks are read directly from your page source, and mobile usability and speed are measured by Google Lighthouse. Nothing is estimated. The tool checks proven conversion basics. It cannot judge how your design looks, how good your offer is or how persuasive your copy is, so use it as a checklist and confirm changes with real visitor data.
Yes, where it can. Each finding names the element it refers to, such as the button text or the form, and mobile problems list the exact CSS selector and HTML reported by Google. The Excel action plan has a “Where” column.
Yes. On product pages it checks the add-to-cart button, price, images, reviews, options, description, shipping and returns information, stock status, product suggestions, breadcrumbs and Product schema. On category pages it checks search, filters, sorting, product cards and cart access.
Google tests your page on a simulated phone and on desktop and reports speed and usability for each. The Device Preview tab shows screenshots and, when your website allows it, a live preview at mobile, tablet, laptop and desktop widths.
Green means the check passed. Yellow is a warning: it works but is likely costing you conversions. Red is a problem that is missing or broken and should be fixed first.
It audits one page at a time: the address you enter. Run it on your homepage, your best landing pages and a product page. It cannot enter your cart or checkout, because those need a real order.
Any public web page. It also detects Shopify, WooCommerce, Magento, BigCommerce, Wix, Squarespace, Webflow, GoHighLevel and other platforms, and adjusts the store checks.
A summary with scores, an action plan in priority order with where each issue is and how to fix it, a sheet for each area, a list of every button and form on the page, speed by device and the mobile elements that failed.
Fix the red items first, then the yellow ones. Change one important thing at a time and measure the result in your analytics. If you need conversion tracking set up so you can measure it properly, get in touch.
